Borg Sphere with Display Stand — Playmates Star Trek First Contact, 1996
The sphere that came out of the cube over Earth. Playmates' 1996 First Contact ship, roughly five to six inches across, with the copper-toned surface detailing and its original black display plinth with the red Starfleet delta.
A note worth making, because it costs collectors money in both directions: this is the Playmates toy, not the Eaglemoss die-cast. The Eaglemoss version is a 7cm piece with green glow patches on a clear post. This one is larger, copper-detailed, and sits on an angular black base. They are different objects at different prices.
Condition: Loose, no box. Sphere and stand both present.
Light and sound untested. We have not powered it up and will not claim function we have not confirmed.
