Star Trek Classic Tricorder — Playmates, Screen Lights Up

The original series tricorder, as Playmates made it in the mid-nineties: black body, silver trim, flip-up lid, twin drawer compartments and the original black nylon shoulder strap. Spock's field kit, sized for your shoulder.

The screen lights up. It is lit in our photo — that red readout is real, not staged. On a toy this age that is the whole story, because most surviving examples have a dead module or a corroded battery bay.

Condition: Loose, no box. Hinge sound, both drawers open, strap present and original. Age-appropriate wear on the corners and edges.

Still to verify before this goes live: full sound function and the battery compartment interior. We will update this listing with what we find rather than leave you guessing.

Photos are of the actual item being sold.
