Star Wars — Electronic CommTech Reader, Episode I (Sealed)

Here's the part everybody forgets: the chips in those Episode I figures didn't do anything on their own. You needed this.

The Electronic CommTech Reader — touch a figure's chip to it and the figure talks. Hasbro sold it separately, so most kids never had one, and the ones that sold got opened immediately.

This one is still sealed in its original blister. Front and back both photographed.

If you're building a CommTech run, the reader is the hard half. There are far more sealed figures out there than sealed readers.

Released in 1999 alongside the Episode I CommTech line.

Photos are of the actual item being sold.
