Star Wars Episode I — Darth Maul (Jedi Duel) with CommTech Chip (MOC, 1999)

Summer of '99. Everybody wanted Maul. He had about twenty minutes of screen time and somehow walked off with the whole movie, and this was the figure you actually found on the peg.

The CommTech chip was the gimmick that year — snap it into the reader and the figure talks. Chip's still here in the bubble alongside the double-bladed lightsaber. There's even the old green "Win the Ultimate Party" sticker on the front, with an offer that expired back on 2/1/00.

Honest about the card: it's got wear. Soft corners, some creasing along the edges. The bubble is intact and still firmly attached, and the figure inside is untouched. This is a nice shelf piece, not a graded-case candidate.

Fair warning so nobody overpays — Hasbro made an ocean of these. It's a great-looking sealed piece from 1999, but it isn't rare, and it's priced like what it is.
